Super primes
Just came across a interesting article on Wikipedia on super primes.
Wait a minute, you mean besides primes we also have super primes, like besides Superman, we have super-Superman, I can pick up voices like this. Well, super primes are primes that occupy prime-numbered positions in the list of primes. Get it? If you don't, don't fret. Here is a table to show you what I mean:
| List of prime numbers | Position in list of primes |
| 2 | 1 |
| 3 | 2 |
| 5 | 3 |
| 7 | 4 |
| 11 | 5 |
| 13 | 6 |
| 17 | 7 |
| 19 | 8 |
| ... | ... |
| (Highlighted in violet are the primes that correspond to the numbers highlighted in the right column) | (Highlighted in blue are the prime numbers) |
From the table, we can see that the prime 3 is the 2nd prime number, the prime 5 is the 3rd prime number, the prime 11 is the 5th prime number and the prime 17 is the 7th prime number. Hence, the super primes are the primes 3, 5, 11 and 17.
What do you think about Superman, er, I mean, super primes?
