There will be a hiatus of posts for this week, as I have to go for AB Camp, which is 5 days and 4 nights long. When I get back on Friday, I shall provide an update on the camp. But for now, adios!

Today, the three new J1 organisation leaders are "tasked" to go to JJC's Interact Club installation, which was today. Instead, one of them had the learning journey around AMK, so another "replacement" was sent instead.
So initially I have got no idea what this installation thingy worked. Then as guests the three of us from AJ observed the ceremony. Of course there were some other guests, like some from ACJC and RVHS, as well as some people from the Rotary Club at Jurong. The installation was essentially something like acknowledging the J2s and "welcoming" the J1s officially. A photo montage was in, as was the usual speech from the GOH. Then the official handover ceremony took place, whereby the J2 EXCOs officially pass their duties to the J1 EXCOs. *Insert fancy background music*
BTW, I learnt that the members of the Interact Club at JJC are called "CSL"s; the equivalent in AJ is "member"s. The term for "organisation" in JJC is "beneficiary"; this makes them sound so important! :D Also, the Interact Club there has like so much more activities as compared to ours; this could be due to the fact that service learning is hot in AJ, so our Interact Club cannot rob the other CCAs of some activities that they can carry out.
After the whole ceremony, there was a tea reception for everyone. I met a J1 EXCO member who had earlier transferred from AJ to JJ in the first few days of JC1. And I have a friend who did the reverse, ie. from JJ to AJ! And they are classmates! What coincidences :D
Maybe if our Interact Club need to organise more activities, we can work with some other Interact Clubs like JJC. They have loads of activities, as can be seen by the fact that they have 3 CSDs while our club only has 1 CSD. Sadded :( That brings us to the fact that our club like actually quite poor thing :( JJ's club has plenty of EXCO positions, and plenty of members too. Compare 50 to 35!
Anyway, I shall take a break for tomorrow's Cross Country run! Good night :D

Support local talent! Haha :D Here's today's song: Broken, sung by the third Singapore Idol Sezairi Sezali. I find this song quite nice. What about you?
Lyrics to Broken [Sezairi Sezali]
Dropped off your keys last night
The front doors still not painted
You were polite like ice
That I once could have melted
You took our pictures down
And you left them on the ground
Its like you wiped all the memories
Of what we used to be
You and me before it all crashed down
And I know I never told you
That I love you
Now its all too late
And I don't know how to hold you
But I want to
I don't want to leave this way
All I know
Is broken
I heard your voice break when you said
Well I hope you're happy
Nothing to say I stared straight into my coffee
Then the conversation changed
And we talked around the blame
And the pain of losing
All of the good times lost
When it all crashed down
And I know I never told you
That I love you
Now its all too late
And I don't know how to hold you
But I want to
I don't want to leave this way
All I know
Is broken
But I'm here if you need me
I know you don't believe me
And well I'm so sorry
For all the pain I've caused
Ohhh ...
And I know I never told you
That I love you
Now its all too late
And I don't know how to hold you
But I want to
I don't want to leave this way
All I know
Is broken

I realised that I have not updated the blog for a long time. Thus, here's an update, one week before the June holidays.
Roles: I am now the organisation leader for Cheshire home in Interact Club. I am also going to be the class rep, so I have to find a replacement for my Maths rep position.
Recent events: I went for AJ's band concert (ponning part of the Olympiad training session), as well as the Personal Grooming course. Pretty useful course!
A Square: I have now completed the last of the 9 sessions! With money to earn, CIP hours awarded, free dinner as well as time to do tutorials in an air-conditioned room, I just might come back to be a tutor for next year's A square program!
Project Work: The official group work has started. I hope that it will be a smooth-sailing process ... BTW my group's task is alternatives.
Formula One: Alonso is now third in the overall standings! He overcome a crash during practice in Monaco (which led him to start from the pits) to finish 6th in the race! Good job!
Upcoming events right before and during the June holidays: Cross-country run, Vesak Day, AB Camp (at least now I'm not going as a replacement, I'm going in as the "real deal"), SMO, Extra lectures and tutorials, hardcore revision, (own) GP research
Looks like there's lot's of stuff coming up. Luckily there's a holiday coming right up so I have some break before the AB camp ...

I feel plenty of stress coming right up. Seems like one way to combat stress is to actually do your tutorials! So I'm off to complete my tutorials. Hope you enjoy today's song, which is Superman by Five for Fighting ;)
Add-on: It's really not easy to continue like this. My systems will break down someday ...

It's hard trying not to be too emo about it, but still ...How can one feel satisfied if he/she does not get what he/she wants? I'm only hoping for so much, to be a class/CCA leader, is it that hard? Fair enough, I did not get enough votes, but there are other ways in which I can help out to "exhibit" or more appropriately, express my leadership capabilities.
At least in secondary school, I still can say that I'm an ASL. But now?Of course, if offered the opportunity to lead, I would be more than willing to take up the challenge. But in this case, the opportunities are no longer for me anymore!
Not that I don't want, but I can't get it in the first place! Now I don't feel just disappointment. I feel ANGER! FRUSTRATION! Boiling blood!
But what to do? Shrug it off? Let time fly by?I'm not too sure ...

Here's today's song. Enjoy!
Lyrics to Irreplaceable [Beyonce]
To the left, to the left
To the left, to the left
To the left, to the left
Everything you own in the box to the left
In the closet that's my stuff, yes
If I bought it please don't touch
And keep talking that mess, that's fine
But could you walk and talk at the same time?
And it's my name that is on that tag
So remove your bags let me call you a cab
Standing in the front yard telling me
How I'm such a fool, talking about
How I'll never ever find a man like you
You got me twisted
You must not know 'bout me
You must not know 'bout me
I could have another you in a minute
Matter fact he'll be here in a minute, baby
You must not know 'bout me
You must not know 'bout me
I can have another you by tomorrow
So don't you ever for a second get to thinking you're irreplaceable
So go ahead and get gone
And call up that chick and see if she's home
Oops, I bet ya thought that I didn't know
What did you think I was putting you out for?
Because you was untrue
Rolling her around in the car that I bought you
Baby you dropped them keys
Hurry up before your taxi leaves
Standing in the front yard telling me
How I am such a fool, talking about
How I'll never ever find a man like you
You got me twisted
You must not know 'bout me
You must not know 'bout me
I can have another you in a minute
Matter fact he'll be here in a minute, baby
You must not know 'bout me
You must not know 'bout me
I'll have another you by tomorrow
So don't you ever for a second get to thinking you're irreplaceable
So since I'm not your everything
How about I'll be nothing, nothing at all to you
Baby I won't shed a tear for you, I won't lose a wink of sleep
'Cause the truth of the matter is replacing you is so easy
To the left, to the left
To the left, to the left
To the left, to the left
Everything you own in the box to the left
To the left, to the left
Don't you ever for a second get to thinking you're irreplaceable
You must not know 'bout me
You must not know 'bout me
I can have another you in a minute
Matter fact he'll be here in a minute, baby
You must not know 'bout me
You must not know 'bout me
I can have another you by tomorrow
So don't you ever for a second get to thinking, baby
You must not know 'bout me
You must not know 'bout me
I can have another you in a minute
Matter fact he'll be here in a minute
You could pack all your things, we're finished
(You must not know 'bout me)
'Cause you made your bed, now lay in it
(You must not know 'bout me)
I can have another you by tomorrow
Don't you ever for a second get to thinking you're irreplaceable

Here's today's song. Hope you like it!
Lyrics to World Behind My Wall [Tokio Hotel]
It's raining today
The blinds are shut, it's always the same
I tried all the games that they play
But they made me insane
Life on TV
It's random, it means nothing to me
I'm writing down what I cannot see
Wanna wake up in a dream
Whoa, whoa
They're telling me it's beautiful
I believe them but will I ever know
The world behind my wall?
Whoa, whoa
The sun will shine like never before
One day I will be ready to go
See the world behind my wall
Trains in the sky
Are traveling through fragments of time
They're taking me to parts of my mind
That no one can find
I'm ready to fall
I'm ready to crawl on my knees to know it all
I'm ready to heal, I'm ready to feel
Whoa, whoa
They're telling me it's beautiful
I believe them but will I ever know
The world behind my wall?
Whoa, whoa
The sun will shine like never before
One day I will be ready to go
See the world behind my wall
See the world behind my wall
See the world behind my wall
See the world behind my wall
I'm ready to fall
I'm ready to crawl on my knees to know it all
I'm ready to heal, I'm ready to feel
Take me there
(Whoa, whoa)
Take me there
Take me there
Whoa, whoa
They're telling me it's beautiful
I believe them but will I ever know
The world behind my wall?
